All games that support the Nintendo Switch Online app
While Nintendo has the Nintendo Switch Online service, they don't support voice chat directly in the games themselves. Instead, you have to download the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app on your iPhone or Android device if you want to voice chat with other players through NSO. The app also has some game-specific services like exclusive items and other in-game bonuses. Here are all of the games that will work with the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app right now.

Splatoon 2 is a family-friendly shooter game where the goal isn't always just killing the enemy team. Instead, you'll need to paint the stage with ink from your squidling's gun to mark your turf. The team with the most turf by the end of the rounds wins! There are also other modes to play online, as well as a single-player campaign.
Race to the finish
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the definitive version of Mario Kart 8. You'll get all of the tracks, karts, and characters that were only available as DLC in the Wii U version. Race with up to three friends in intense and zany courses and see who can take home the gold.

Relax out on the farm
Stardew Valley is a fun and relaxing farming simulation game where you can play and visit friends' farms. Start with your small hand-me-down farm from your grandfather, and turn it into a thriving home for you and your significant other. Stardew Valley is one of those games that you can put hundreds of hours into, but there's always going to be something to do, especially when you play with friends.
Fatality!
The latest Mortal Kombat game is here and on your Nintendo Switch, surprisingly. Play as one of the many returning favorites, such as Raiden or Scorpion, or choose a new face like Geras. Some new game mechanics were introduced, such as Fatal Blows and Crushing Blows, which replaced X-Ray Moves and Attacks. With Mortal Kombat 11, there's no shortage of insane and gory fatalities to inflict on your foes.
Fantasy building
Do you enjoy the Dragon Quest series as well as sandbox games like Minecraft? DRAGON QUEST BUILDERS 2 combines the best of both worlds! This sequel to the original game lets you collect and gather resources to craft your own weapons, buildings, and eventually, entire towns. But watch out for the slimes! Use those hand-crafted weapons to fend them off.
Avengers, assemble!
Can't get enough Marvel? Then Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is a must. You'll find all of your favorite Marvel characters, from the Avengers to the X-Men to the Fantastic Four, and all of the cool villains you love. Form your team of favorite heroes or villains and take on Thanos and the Black Order in this new story in the Marvel universe.
Guerilla warfare on Mars
You can enjoy open-world guerilla warfare on Mars in this game. The freedom is yours in terms of who, when, where, and how you want to battle on Mars as you deploy guerilla warfare tactics against your foes. Oh, and don't forget to use the environment as you use strategic destruction methods and watch as the world evolves around you. Remember to stay on your toes!
Are you a Saint?
Can you disrupt and dismantle the Syndicate's stranglehold on weapons, cybercrime, and sex trades in Steelport? This is the City of Sin, and you'll need to be a Saint and put a stop to their empire. This version includes all of the DLC, tons of customization, and side-by-side co-op for the first time.
How humerus
Skulls of the Shogun is a fast-paced turn-based strategy game. Even though it's turn-based, it has elements of a fighting game, as well as lots of laughs. Enter the Samurai Afterlife and join forces with undead warriors, magical monks, and samurai generals as you crush your enemies and eat their skulls for breakfast. And each skully character has its own distinctive traits and personalities, so there's a lot to enjoy here.
Vroom, vroom!
Get the thrill of super-powered bike racing in TT Isle of Man: Riding on the Edge. The game features 24 official riders, 38 amazing super-powered bikes, including sidecars, all rocketing alongside village and mountain roads at 200 mph. The game uses realistic road racing techniques, so you get the thrill without the actual danger.
Get your game on!
These are currently all of the games that will work with the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app for features like voice chat. Honestly, the mobile app isn't the best, and we wish voice chat could be implemented natively on the Switch. But for now, it will have to do.
In our opinion, some of the best Nintendo Switch games use the multiplayer feature. If you're looking for some recommendations for must-have games on this list, we highly recommend Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The latest installment has the biggest roster ever, and it continues to grow with additions like Joker from Persona 5, Banjo & Kazooie, The Hero from the Dragon Quest series, and more.
We also like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, because who doesn't love Mario Kart? And since this version also comes with all tracks, characters, and kart parts that were previously only DLC, it's honestly a great value. Splatoon 2 is also a must because it's one of Nintendo's newest IPs, and it's just downright fun to play. It's a great shooter for people who aren't fans of most first-person shooters.
