A new report indicates Apple's hiring has increased massively over the last year.
According to GlobalData Apple has stepped up hiring massively, with a focus on retail staff and also smart home product development. GD writes:
Anisha Bhatia, Senior Analyst for Consumer Services, Platforms and Devices at GlobalData, said that Apple grows its market share where it expands its retail footprint and that the Apple store is a status symbol in communities. Beyond retail, Apple is also investing in creating new products for 'Home Services', from Ajay Thalluri, Business Fundamentals Analyst at GlobalData:
The report notes that Apple is continuing to expand its product and service portfolio to complement products like the iPhone 12, and Apple's upcoming iPhone 13, expected to be the company's best iPhone yet. The report notes Apple is also holding hiring initiatives in colleges and universities, looking for temporary staff for its retail stores.
