As reported by Deadline, Apple has signed a deal to acquire Argylle, a new spy thriller that will be directed by Matthew Vaughn. The deal, according to the report, is worth about $200 million and the hope is to turn the film into a franchise.
The new film comes with an impressive cast including Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O'Hara, John Cena, Samuel L. Jackson, and Dua Lipa. The Grammy winner will also work on the music and score for the film.
Apple already has a relationship with Vaughn who will be directing Tetris: The Movie which will star Taron Edgerton.
