It's also important that a VPN uses the WireGuard, OpenVPN, or IKE2v protocols. There are other encryption protocols out there, but these three are currently the most secure and the ones we recommend using. We also look at each VPN company's no-log privacy policy. This gives us an idea of how well your personal information is protected from law enforcement and online trackers, or from being sold to partners.
Then we download and use the VPN on various devices, including Mac, Windows, Android, iOS, Linux, and more.
