Everything you need to know about Syberia 3 on Nintendo Switch
If you're fancying a graphic adventure game for your Nintendo Switch that is deep in storytelling and character development, then you'll be pleased to hear that Syberia 3 is coming soon!
This is the third game in the Syberia series, which features the main character, Kate Walker. Syberia 3 is not a brand new game, but rather a port from the 2017 PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One release.
Here's everything you need to know about Syberia 3's Nintendo Switch release.
What is Syberia 3?
Like the previous two games, Syberia 3 is a third-person adventure game that's based heavily on making choices and puzzle solving. This title picks up after the plot in the second game. Players essentially follow the adventures of Kate Walker, who is an American lawyer traveling across Siberia.
In Syberia 3, Kate abandons the island of Siberia and ends up on a makeshift boat that is found by the Youkoi people. She discovers that they share a common enemy, and decides to help the nomadic Youkoi on their ancestral tradition of accompanying snow ostriches on their migration.
There are several beautiful areas that players will traverse in Syberia 3, including charming towns, ship voyages, and even theme parks long abandoned by the locals due to nuclear fallout.

What's the gameplay like?
Syberia 3 works like a point-and-click adventure game. You'll move around with the joystick, but you'll interact with the surroundings and objects by tapping on them.
There are visual indicators on the screen that let you know when you can interact with NPCs or objects, so it's hard to miss something that's obvious. However, you do need to make sure to explore everything around you so you don't forget anything useful.
When you interact with other characters, you'll often need to make decisions on what to say or do that affect the ending you'll get. The game also has a lot of puzzles that you'll have to solve before you can progress in the story.
As you pick up items in your stash, you can access them by going into your inventory menu and then select it for puzzle solving. Controls for these puzzles will vary depending on what you need to do, but they can involve the touchscreen or using the buttons to direct the cursor.
When is it available and how much will it cost?
Syberia 3 is available on Nintendo Switch on October 18, 2018 in both physical and digital forms. It retails for $49.99.
Explore Siberia
The Syberia games were rich in story and gave players beautiful worlds to explore. Syberia 3 originally received mixed reviews on the previous versions, but this game should still be entertaining to those who like graphic adventure titles.
