Update: Fire Emblem Heroes is now available across North America! Download now
If you've been anticipating the launch of Nintendo's free-to-play turn-based RPG Fire Emblem Heroes, your wait is over – at least for those of you in the UK. The game is now live in the UK App Store, as well as Japan and Australia, which means it will be rolling out across the rest of the world over the next few hours and across the world.
Fire Emblem Heroes is based on the Fire Emblem franchise but was made specifically for mobile. Players can summon heroes, develop skill sets, and fight against baddies in turn-based combat not entirely unlike the franchise's console games.
From the app summary:
Just like Super Mario Run, an internet connection is required to play Fire Emblem Heroes. Although the game is free to download, some features will require payment in Orbs, the in-game currency. You may discover that you'll need to buy Orbs with real money in order to make the most out of your adventure.
Fire Emblem Heroes is now available in the U.S. App Store. Download it here.
