LastPass is a cross-platform password manager application that works on iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry, as well as on both Mac OS X and Windows computers. In October 2015, LastPass was acquired by LogMeIn, in a deal that both parties expect to bring great things to the application.
With LastPass, you can store and create passwords for all of your favorite apps and web services, while keeping them secure. Through the use of multiple levels of security on LastPass' end, and a master password to get into the service, the company aims to keep all of your data as safe as secure as possible.
Smartphone users can sign up for the service for free, and sync between other smartphones but if you wish to sync to a desktop you'll need to be subscribed to the premium service. Currently, LastPass' Premium membership runs $12 a year, which breaks down to just $1 a month to keep your information safe.
