The Legendary Lake Guardians are returning to Pokémon Go
What you need to know
- For one week only, the Lake Guardians Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie are returning to Legendary Raids in Pokémon Go.
- Beginning Tuesday, November 24, 2020, the trio will be available until Monday, November 30.
- Other Pokémon related to lakes, knowledge, emotion, and willpower will also be appearing.
- Shiny Goldeen will be appearing at increased rates during the event.
Niantic has announced that the Legendary trio known as the Lake Guardians will be returning to Pokémon Go Raids soon. Beginning Tuesday, November 24, 2020, Trainers will be able to encounter one of the three Legendary Pokémon based upon their location. The Trio will be only available through Monday, November 30. Although Niantic has no specified which areas the individual Lake Guardians will be available, they will still be restricted to specific geographic locations.
The event will also feature new AR Mapping Task rewards and event exclusive Field Research tasks. Other Pokémon related to lakes, knowledge, emotion, and willpower will also be appearing. Shiny Goldeen will be introduced with boosted rates, spawning in the wild and hatching from 5KM Eggs.
The following Pokémon will be appearing more in the wild, be lured by incense, and hatching from eggs:
- Psyduck
- Goldeen
- Magikarp
- Surskit
- Starly
- Bidoof
- Shellos
- Abra
- Machop
- Ralts
