Meross has announced the release of another new HomeKit accessory on Thursday — the Meross Smart LED Floor Lamp. The latest HomeKit lamp from Meross sports a modular three-piece design that allows it to work on the floor or a table with the included base or clamp mount.
The Meross Smart LED Floor Lamp features a slim black frame that measures 54.7-inches tall as a floor lamp and 22-inches as a table lamp. Near the top of the lamp is a flexible gooseneck light that allows for 360-degree rotation and tilt adjustments, and at the bottom is a weighted base that holds it all in place.
While it doesn't support color, the Meross lamp is tunable and supports color temperature adjustments ranging from 2700 to 6000K. The 12w lamp has a peak brightness of 650 lumens and is fully dimmable from 1-100% using the included remote or via smart app connectivity.
In addition to HomeKit and the Home app, the Meross Smart LED Floor Lamp is compatible with Amazon's Alexa, Google Assistant, and the Meross app when connected to a 2.4ghz Wi-Fi network. Smart features include staples such as schedules, timers, and automation with other accessories — all without the need for a dedicated hub.
The Meross Smart LED Floor Lamp is available online through Amazon for a retail price of $79.99. However, as with most Meross product releases, the company is celebrating the launch by offering a $25 discount that you can score by clipping a coupon on the Amazon product page.
