During today's Pokémon Presents players were treated to a brand new look at Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the long-awaited Gen 4 remakes. The chibi art style was controversial when it was first revealed, but it looks much better in this gameplay footage. Players are going to have a blast exploring the Sinnoh region once again.
One of the most underrated aspects of Diamond and Pearl was its underground, where players could collect gems and fossils. This is brought back in the remakes and receives some new features for players to enjoy. Depending on how you decorate your Secret Base, there will be new areas called Hideouts with Pokémon that you can explore. Nintendo notes that "among the Pokémon that inhabit the Sinnoh region, there are some Pokémon that can only be found in these Pokémon Hideaways."
Unlike the originals, players will also be able to change up their wardrobe with different outfits. This level of customization has been in some of the latest Pokémon games to release, but they weren't in the older titles. And to further add to the level of customization players can achieve, they can now decorate their Poké Balls with up to 20 stickers.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl add to a long list of Pokémon games on Nintendo Switch.
