Trello updated for iOS 9 with iPad multitasking, 3D Touch support and more

Trello, a popular task management app for teams, has snagged an update chock full of support for the latest features brought in iOS 9. First, and most notably, is support for split-screen multitasking on iPad, allowing you to manage your Trello cards while you're getting work done. Trello has also picked up support for 3D Touch, including Peek and Pop for cards and Quick Actions on the app icon. Here's the full breakdown:

  • On newer iPads, open the app in Split View and Slide Over. Get more done when you use Trello alongside your other favorite apps.
  • On iPhone 6S and 6S+, peek and pop open cards with 3D Touch. Then, three-dimensionally touch the Trello app icon for Quick Actions. You can check out your notifications or create cards right from the home screen.
  • Search for recent cards with Spotlight.
  • When someone comments on a card, reply to the push notification from the home screen (by swiping left) or the banner (by swiping down).

Overall, this is a fairly substantial update that ticks just about every box on the iOS 9 feature list. If you're a diehard Trello user, you can grab the latest update for free from the App Store link below.
