Verizon will give you a new iPhone for a broken one, says it's no joke
What you need to know
- Verizon is launching what it claims to be a legitimate new offer on April Fools Day.
- New and existing customers can trade in a broken iPhone for a new one.
Verizon is launching a too-good-to-be-true offer on April Fools Day but, according to the company, it is not a joke at all.
In a press release, the company has announced that new and existing customers can trade in a cracked or water damaged phone and still get up to $1000 towards a new one.
The company says that most of its retail stores are now open and customers can redeem the offer at a physical location. Of course, retail locations are still following the proper COVID-19 protocols where required.
While plenty of companies tend to pull jokes on April Fools Day, this one from Verizon seems to be quite legitimate. If so, it's one of the best offers you'll find and a great way to upgrade your broken iPhone to a new iPhone 12.
