Volksbank to get Apple Pay support in the Netherlands

A new report says Volksbank has confirmed it is bringing Apple Pay support to its customers in the Netherlands.
As reported by iCulture:
A Volksbank spokesperson said, "We have (indeed) taken the time to consider whether or not we are going to use Apple Pay" and confirmed customers of SNS, ASN Bank, and RegioBank would get Apple Pay support.
Whilst Apple Pay continues to expand globally to more markets, banks, and customers, a recent study says that at home, it may still be struggling to pick up users. Figures from PYMNTS released this week indicate that over 3,500 surveyed users, only 6.1% of customers who have Apple Pay enabled actually use it in-store. From Tuesday:
