'Wolfwalkers' and 'Greyhound' earn nominations at 2021 BAFTA Awards

Apple TV+ has received a handful of nominations for this year's BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) awards. Both Wolfwalkers and Greyhound were nominated in different categories.
Wolfwalkers, the Apple TV+ animated film that received ten nominations at the 2021 Annie Awards and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Animated Film, has also been nominated for Animated Film at the BAFTA Awards.
The animated film tells the story of a father and daughter who, after traveling to Ireland to destroy the last wolf pack, uncovers a secret that changes her perception about the tribe they are after.
Greyhound, the WWII film starring Tom Hanks, also received two nominations that celebrate the sound and special effects work done on the project.
The nominations received for the 2021 BAFTA Awards are below:
- Animated Film - Wolfwalkers
- Sound - Greyhound, TBC
- Special Visual Effects - Greyhound, Pete Bebb, Nathan Mcguinness, Sebastian Von Overheidt
